I find it interesting that she has a degree in International Relations with a minor in ECONOMICS (of all things) from Boston University. It seems that like former Pres. BHO, these self proclaimed "Community Organizers" have learned absolutely nothing in their quest for higher education. She should get her money back from BU -- it was a total waste.

Basically come January 20th, I see the conversation between her and Pelosi going something like this:

AOC: "Now that I am here we are going to do things diff-"
Pelosi: "Listen you stupid twit, you are going sit here, shut the hell up, look pretty and vote exactly how the democrats, I mean *I* tell you. that is the only reason  you are here, you have no voice you are here to give us an extra vote on a subject that we may otherwise lose due to one vote going against us, got it?"
AOC:  "But-"
Pelosi: "SIT DOWN and SHUT UP!!"

The demographics in her Brooklyn district are changing rapidly. More younger people and immigrants are now driving the politics. Within her district (and many others across the country) there is HUGE move away from traditional Democrat platforms toward the Socialist Democrat agenda of people like Bernie Sanders. The fact that Pres. Trump was elected and that Bernie was sand-bagged by the old (mostly white) Democrats during the primaries motivated a lot of folks to vote against incumbent Joe Crowley. She capitalized on the backlash, and used the progressive platform to run a "grass roots" campaign to get this younger/immigrant voting block to the poles.

She's not stupid, but she is a very politically and economically naive freshman congresswoman who absolutely doesn't understand the economic consequence of her populist socialist ideas. If anyone calls her out on those ideas she tries to brand her opponent with her xenophobic/racist/anti-LGBTQ name calling bag of tricks. That is not the mark of a smart politician. In fact it's a very lame and lazy way to avoid and side step the conversation.
