Don Jr. in El Paso TX --
« on: February 11, 2019, 08:02:41 PM »
Just saw Don Jr's. speech at the rally in El Paso -- damn good speech. I'm betting that he's setting himself up for a presidential run in 2024 or 2028.

It's the way it works Walrus --- as you so accurately stated many times, -- "Follow the money!". I'm quite sure there is already a long list of donors being circulated to assess his viability in future elections.

I agree with Walrus here.  We don't need any more Bush/Clinton royal families.  We just end up getting screwed in the end.

Seems like my hunch was correct. Pres. Trump and his allies are setting Don Jr. up for a run for the presidency -- watch over the coming months how his media profile and exposure will increase exponentially.

Though I've been impressed by Don Jr. interviews and speeches lately I'm with Walrus on this one. We've had enough nepotism in Washington D.C.
Although more outsiders and non-politicians would be a good streak to continue. ;D

He does seem to make a good speech but I think he should wait for several terms before he runs. I still believe Ted Cruz would be a great choice and I really see him running in 2024 with Trumps support. But lets not get ahead of our selves, Trump still has to beat the who ever is the free shit for everyone (white males need not apply) candidate.

I personally believe the election will hinge on if the economy is going strong.  If it is still doing well, Trump wins.  The wild card may be if we get in a war with Iran.

If the economy tanks, Trump will likely lose.

Be interesting to see if the Dems are smart enough to run a mainstream candidate.  Too far left won't fly IMO.  To easy to shoot down.

Normally I'd agree, but there's no way I see the Dems running a mainstream candidate except Biden and he's senile.

I think Trump can beat any of the current crop of Democrats. They already threw Biden under the bus with the impeachment BS. Bernies too far out there and Pocahontas has tribal issues that will hang her. Bloomberg throwing his hat in the ring will sap a lot of money from the others as well.

Yep. Think brokered convention and Hitlery slithers back in the save the day. Or possibly Michelle O.
