The Dems at it again
« on: September 24, 2018, 05:14:03 AM »
The handwriting is on the wall and the game almost over with the Dems smear campaign against Kavanaugh just about done with Ford this week. The Dems know there is not enough there to stop the seating of Kavanaugh so now they have switched to a plan B to take Kavanaugh down by trotting out not one, but two more (I am quite sure) unsubstantiated claims like Fords against Kavanaugh to continue the charade. (Anyone with a brain knows they only have to keep it up until the mid terms when the Republicans will probably no longer have enough of a majority to seat Kavanaugh)

The really sick part is of course the media will do their part, and pump these lies up too. This is just such a joke. I wish the Republicans had just told Ford to go fuck herself and seated Kavanaugh. There will be no end to this ongoing game and the Republicans do not have the sand to draw a line and get Kavanaugh voted in and seated thanks to the Republicans in name only like Jeff Flake and the other two.

I wish the Republicans were as gifted as the Democrats at being crooked and slimy in their politics. I have no illusion the Republicans can be crooked politicians too, but by comparison I think Republicans are novices at being crooks compared to the Democrats.

Just watching this sham is really disgusting me at this point. I really hate the left I will admit. They never surprise me with just how low the left will go.

Yeah, I read about the second one this morning.  She admits to have been drinking and memory was fuzzy so hopefully they won't take her seriously.

The entire political drama in DC is a sham. Kavanaugh is just the tip of the iceberg. That said, I'm really glad this crap is going on. It clearly shows that the Democrats have absolutely no agenda or ideas other than hating Trump and resisting Trump's administration.

I live in a very liberal part of Virginia, and what's increasingly interesting to me is that many of my liberal friends are now absolutely disgusted with their own party. In fact some of them are switching to Independent or Republican affiliation because they can't identify with the new Bernie Sanders "Democratic Socialist" driven agenda of their former party. These people were "true blue" FDR and JFK Democrats, and even though they held their noses and voted for Hillary, the new "Bernie Party" ideals and the Hollywood driven "Resist" movement have driven these people from their party. It's no longer a political party that the "white middle class" feels secure in. In fact, in seems like the white middle class isn't even wanted in the party anymore.

I'm not surprised one bit at what's happening in DC. The Dems are unhinged and proud to show it, and the Reps are spineless. About the only thing the two parties agree on is spend, spend, spend.

Every time I vote for someone who claims to be conservative they just turn around and get swallowed up by the swamp. Local, state, federal - it makes little difference. But Trump seems to be moving in a good direction. I don't like everything he's done but by and large I support what he has done.

The Kavanaugh fiasco shows how important this battle is. The Left wouldn't be going all out like this unless the appointment was key. As they say, "If you're not catching flak then you're not over the target!". I'm hopeful the RINO's will be able to get this man confirmed, and I'm semi-hopeful the midterms will keep the Dems out of the majority. A one-two punch like that will really get the Left crying.  And I could use some good news. ;D

There is always the possibility that this smear job the Dems have put on Kavanaugh has stirred the ire of enough Republicans to actually motivate the R's to turnout strong for midterms and hopefully keep the Dems beat down so they remain in the minority. That is my greatest hope.

We will see. It is always the moderates that do such damage to the Republicans though. Name only folks you know.

In the final analysis it's never really about the registered Republicans or Democrats, because the majority of voters theses days identify as Independents. Independents swing elections and they are rarely polled correctly. That is one reason why so many 2016 election polls were wrong. Historically during mid-term elections it's the older demographic that gets motivated to get to the polls; while younger voters sit out the mid-terms. This time around this bodes well for the Republicans since most older voters tend to be more conservative in their politics and social values.

This crap is really disgusting. It makes you wonder if this whole metoo movement was a long term plan to whack the Republicans but many slimeballs in Hollyweird got caught up in it.
There is a Dem Congresswoman running against our Republican Senator and a new ad came out and I saw it for the 1st time this morning. It shows the Dem saying "I'm a Hillary Clinton woman" or some such and then they show a clip of Hillary cackling. That sound sends chills up my spine and makes want to vomit.

Lol that's a bold move to play that card. No one wants their bitchy mother-in-law in a position of political power.

Alot of polls seem to indicate the race here in Arizona is key to a Dem majority in the Senate. The Dem contender Kristen Sinema is a total loon, but has what I have to admit is a slick ad campaign going and she's lying low, not giving any interviews. I think she savvy enough to realize if she gets in front of a camera she knows she'll stick a fork in her attempt.

The RINO McSally isn't a great prize, either. She's a former military pilot but supported amnesty until just about a year ago when she wanted to run for Senate. I'm so done with the Republican campaign slogan, "We'll, we're not as bad as the Democrats!"

ding ding ding, we have a winner.

As much as I don't care for Trump tweeting out ridiculous crap, he is getting us heading in a better direction.  I do like his tough stance on trade, we have given away the farm for all too long.  And I think he is right on immigration.  He could certainly learn to be a bit more diplomatic.

Yeah, he could employ some more tact.

But so could I!

It just ticks me off that we're nominating a judge, and Hollywood goes berserk, college campuses have protests, people picket in front of politicians houses, etc. Yet when they vote to bail out the banks, start another war, do another CR for the gov - there's nothing but crickets!
These young people don't realize that all this debt that they're just letting the politicians do is gonna come down on their heads later on. I'll be outta here!

The Dim's are a bunch of hypocritical  A-holes. Clinton and Booker have both been accused and proof of such is out there but that is OK or different somehow. Booker want to be President WTF.

Believe Ford simply cause she is a woman and says it happened. Give me a break. Guilty till proven innocent

I think for me this seating of Kavanaugh is turning into the last straw. For a few years I have been unhappy with the Republicans inability to act as one and ever accomplish the things that I have voted for them expecting to happen. I realize that sadly this is as a result of the RINO'S being the stumbling block. Sadly, I have now reached the point that regardless the reason for their inability to accomplish anything while holding majorities none of it matters to me anymore.

I just don't see the point in wasting time voting for Republicans since they will not act as one to accomplish what they say they are going to do. Even though it will be only a small handful that torpedoes their effort that answer just no longer matters for me, none of it matters anymore. If the Republicans do not get Kavanaugh seated before the election I have decided that I am simply done voting, there will simply be no logical reason to continue voting.

I will never vote for Dems or any others either. I am just going to stop voting and write the whole process off as a wasted effort and save myself the frustration. So for me personally the outcome of this whole Kavanaugh fiasco is going to decide exactly what I do going forward. Years ago I would have voted if I was pissed, now I am going to just toss in the towel and be done with the process and write it off.
You boys better hold on cause I'm gonna have to stand on it!

UB, I understand your frustration. But that line of thinking as far as voting is exactly what the enemy wants. Make no mistake they are the enemy and you not voting is like two votes for them. Sometimes you just have to hold your nose and vote. Not doing so is not how I think.

Herb, I agree that the RINOs in DC deserve a kick in the nuts I'm not yet willing to forgo my vote and let the Dems have a chance at taking over again. We saw what a shit show that was. I'm not sure what to do about it other start running better Republican candidates against the incumbents.

I saw on the internet that Cruz was shouted out of a restraunt last night by a batch of rabid Dems. I'm just not ready to turn the operation of this country over to a group that thinks that's acceptable behavior. And I don't particularly like Cruz but I'll hold my nose and vote for him over Beeto.

You have no idea how many times I have given others this exact advice myself. I have been in sync 100% with your comment. I just don't know that I can follow this very sage advice any longer. My comment prior is not typical of my thinking. I will see, right now I am watching intently. I am going to be disappointed beyond description if the Republican blow this vitally important issue like they have been doing with almost everything for the last few years.

Nutless wonders most of them.

I have long said to my family and friends... Republicans and Democrats are boils on the same ass.  and both parties need lanced.

Take a look at the last 20 years.  We have seen our economy spiral in, and who gets bailed out?  banks and car manufacturers that were "too big to fail".  Then we have seen the house/ senate and president all majorly Democrat with a supermajority in one of the houses.  they passed the Affordable Healthcare Act which was neither affordable or really healthcare and they got that passed by throwing legislation into the act terminating the privilege of generating student loans by privately held companies (unless you were a specific one from a specific state that was exempt in order for that state's spineless jackass to support the bill, so two lies in one. The Democrat controlled government did nothing to work on any other problem.  Nothing to address illegal immigration.  Nothing to address security of our borders.  nothing to address skyrocketing national debt other than to spend more money.

we have seen the pendulum swing back to the right with the promise of "repealing Obamacare".  when has that happened?  it hasn't.  the best we can say is that much of the crappy parts have been defunded. but it is the "law of the land", so we can't scrap it and rethink the entire process.  We always have one (or as many as needed) republican to sink anything to undo most of the crappy laws from the previous regime.  Don't you find that interesting?  the Republicans battle cry from 2010 to 2016 was "we will undo/ repeal Obamacare".  they had at least six (6) YEARS to work out a viable alternative so that when they had a chance (ie when Trump took over and we had a majority in both houses) and what happens?  NOTHING.  they don't have a clue.  they should have had a plan and implemented it.

So now we are at a point that the Republicans can really set the bar and do some good by confirming what appears to be a solid individual for the Supreme Court.  so what do they do?  they wet their pants and wring their hand over the "accusations" brought forth by a confirmed leftist and Trump hater who publicaly said she is out to cause problems for Trump.  convenient.  then when her credibility gets shredded, more liars come out of the woodwork to sink Kavanaugh, and the republicans are still wetting their pants and wringing their hands.  Stop the crap, and if you have damning evidence that Kavenaugh did something, present it, and fry his ass  right away.  But, I dont' think they do.  it is all a stall tactic.

At this point, we need to purge both parties and if the majority of the US would vote for a decent independent we could get somewhere.  and this is both state wide and usa wide.

So to fix this, we need to implement term limits, and all congressmen and senators pay and benefits should be cut.  no more raises for the crappy job they do.  they will be paid the median income of the jurisdiction that they represent.  so unless they are bringing in new decent paying jobs , they don't get a raise.  Any laws passed are applicable to them as well.  none of this elitist horscrap that we have now that exempts them.  Otherwise we will continue to see the rampant assbaggery in our government :( that we see today.

I could go on and on, but you get my drift.

I wouldnt want to own anything close to the city. When we where living in Louisiana we lived close to Baton Rouge. The afternoon when the asshole from Kansas City decided it was a good idea to shoot a bunch of cops was interesting. I remember seeing truck loads of rednecks with money armed to the teeth and ready for a fight.

It wont take much for a city to fall into total anarchy, the D mayors tell the cops to let the hood rats destroy. One of these days the hood rat will run into some business owners who wont let the mob destroy what they built and it will be a bloodbath.

What always cracks me up about some of these protest is who is paying for the bus rides, t-shirts, signs, inflatable trump babies??  If the news was doing it's job and not picking sides, these protest would seem a lot sillier.

Well, it looks like Kavanaugh is going to make it. AZ senator Flake just announced he's supporting Kavanaugh, which is throwing the left into a tear fest. So - unless jeffy boy eats a bad burrito over the weekend - looks like the other moderates will fall in line and vote yes.
And the Dems are already plotting impeachment of Kavanaugh if they take the majority in the next two elections. Nice how all this talk of "for the children" and "womans rights" and "fighting for the middle class" have all disappeared and their true intentions are bared. But for now, all I've got to say is - elections have consequences, we won, and  :P

The BIG money funding the Democrats comes from the abortion/pharma industry. That industry uses the Feminist and Racial Equality movements as a cover because if anyone questions their intentions, they immediately fall back on racism and misogyny to shut down any reasonable debate on the matter. The "Me Too" movement is just another virulent wing of that cabal.

In the process, and with the support of BIG money, the feminist movement has abandoned God, country, and the rule of law in favor of two new deities -- abortion and careless sexual gratification; because without the one the other can't exist. I pray to God that the good people in "fly-over" country will see this scam for what it truly is -- namely a grab for ultimate power without any consideration of the consequences.

i am very interested in how heidi heitkamp votes on this. she grew up within 15 miles of me and am always surprised by how people vote for her.  i have met her
her a time or two  but see her brother somewhat often. he still lives in the area and is radio talk show host . guess who he promotes?.she is in a tight race with kevin cramer and i think  if she votes against against she may as well pack her bags and come home now and the dems can't afford to lose her. if she votes for him she has a fighting chance to stay. the polls show a vast majority in  the state want her to vote for him.

I was stoked with Kavanaugh yesterday. Amazingly I was unexpectedly pleased with Lindsey Grahams outburst yesterday too! I had no clue LG even had that in him. Odd, I had written him off years ago and then he pulls off something that t totally impressed me.

If the R's cannot get Kavanaugh seated after the job he did yesterday they all need to quit and just go home.

This whole confirmation has been a shit show from the word go. I figured it would be bad when the cheerleaders on CNN started saying he cant be a judge because his name is Brett.

I not all that worried about if he gets confirmed or not. I think the gop will retain control of both houses, Trump has done nothing but get more popular since his election so let the dems burn this guy down if they want. I hope the next candidate is a CONSERVATIVE that reads the constitution every morning after his morning coffee, the dems will stand little chance of blocking the next candidate.  Look back at history and that how we got Antonin Scalia.

O and just in case you think this is the first time this card has been played lets hit the rewind button back to 1991, Clarence Thomas had Joe Biden feeling a bit "un-comfy".

Too much at stake with the SC nominee to consider the mid terms a safe bet. The SC nominee really overshadows all of it to me. Seating BK is vitally important. I am not as convinced as you that we won't lose a bit in the mid terms. Stakes just way way too high to not seat BK pre mid terms.

And just like that Flake flakes out! What a bunch of slime scrapped off of a manure pile!

Well, can't say I'm that surprised. Whenever a sitting politician announces they're not running for re-election and have more than  year left you can count on them being spoilers. And of course he won't come back to AZ and actually show his face.

I still have some faith in Trump but he has one heck of a head wind trying to get anything done with all the RINO's, Obama leftovers, and downright resisters buried within all the departments.

Looks like the Dems are pressuring the local police department to start an investigation - and the PD came back with the accuser has to come in and file a report. Christy Ford doesn't want to do that - because that gets her on the record and can nail her if the investigation proves she lied (which she knows!) Plus the statute of limitations ran out long ago.

So, no dice, Dembo's! :D

I think this whole fiasco is actually helping Trump and his agenda more than hurting it. Tough on Judge Kavanaugh and his family, though.

Have faith that good will triumph over evil.  A few months before the election in 2016, I came to the realization that Hillary Clinton would never be president and not to worry.  So I didn't and had faith.  Everything worked out.   ;D

Well, Judge Kavanaugh's 7th FBI investigation is complete with nothing nefarious found, all of the accusers have had several holes punched through their credibility (or had them collapse altogether), and the Dems are blaming everything wrong under the sun on Trump. Sounds like a great time to confirm the judge and move on to the next great thing!  :))

Fingers crossed on confirmation, all hinges on the three RINO'S at this point. Flaky Flake and those two old dingy broads. I don't trust those three and sadly wonder what sort of lefty crap one of those fools will come up with in the final moments to torpedo Kavanaugh.

The Senate side of the Capitol building will be overrun with virulent abortion loving, screaming, unhinged feminists Saturday-- just wait for it. They will try to burn the place down and prevent the Senators from taking part in the confirmation vote. Watch for bomb threats, poison threats, and/or other feminist/socialist terrorist threats. This is their D-Day and if they lose, the Democrat party will be abandoned by the far left.

Heck, Lindsay Grahamnesty floated an idea that - if Kavanugh gets borked - Trump re-nominates him and make sit the main talking point for the last month leading up to the midterms! Every one who voted against the guy will be on the defensive in Red states, and every candidate who supports Kavanaugh will get alot of last minute support.
I for one am keeping my eyes and ears open for a diversionary incident - like that ricin thing. Some big news item that will overshadow the midterms by getting people scared, as goodfellow said. A "terrorist" attack or assassination attempt. Keep your knives sharp and your powder dry!

Heidi just announced she is voting no. No surprise,  she is screwed either way and even the local news is saying that. Maybe this will punch her ticket home.

News is saying farewell for those like her that toe the Democrat line in red states. Good riddance to em all. Hopefully the rest like her will get washed out too. Republicans are all fired up now, best thing since sliced bread for the Republicans! Even the lefty spokesholes like MSLSD and National Propaganda Radio are all down in the chops and wringing their hands crying woe is me for the blue wave that is now best describes as a swirlie spinning in the crapper!  :))

The best part is the left corn holed themselves!  :))

The left is all lathered up because the y think they are going to pick up a couple. I think they are forgetting there are a couple they may lose.

Honestly, heidi has been better than I thought on most things other than the things they make her tow the line on. I still will never and have never voted for her though.

He aint there yet. Lots of crap can and will go on between now and then.

I think the leftys are just digging their hole faster and deeper right now. Even the Yellow dogs around here get kinda queasy when you ask them if they're gonna go protest with the rest of their party. Its making a lot of the older Dems really worried about what they're pushing.

No, but he is going to make it. The Republicans have somehow grown a spine and I think it happened when Kavanaugh blasted the Dems during his confirmation hearing. Sort of like the Grinch growing a heart on Mt. Trumpet, the Republicans somehow grew a new spine and have figured out that their base is totally loving it. I cannot see that spine evaporating before the mid terms either, maybe afterward. Probably too much to hope for the new spine being a lasting thing.

Grassley and Graham in particular have been most impressive. Never had a clue Graham was anything but a RINO, then he does a 180 on me and all of a sudden shows up with a spine and an opinion worth hearing!

Did you guys witness the bedlam that was going on when they counted the votes? I've said it before; progressive American feminists are the the meanest, most combative, discriminatory, and lowest form of human evolution there is. They think with their vagina and truly believe that all men should be neutered. In the end they will most likely want to procreate by screaming at each others vaginas.

Most of them from my generation -- over the hill middle aged 1960's and 70's "bra burners" who blamed all their problems on bogus media generated male stereotypes. They hated their fathers, demeaned their mothers for supporting their fathers, despised their husbands/boyfriends for simply acting like and being men, and wound up as frumpy single (aka "enlightened") women with a gut full of hate and a hoard of cats as companions.

The ultimate truth is that they are rebelling against this phony worn out male stereotype ....

....yet they would sell their collective souls to live this stereotype.... LOL     === WINNING!!!!

When they start doing that with pro football teams then I'll start paying attention!
