Title: Found a Husky ratchet
Post by: john k on January 31, 2020, 10:44:17 PM
Visited a local thrift, actually had some interesting tools in the bins.    Didnt need another ratchet, but a 1/2  drive Husky came home with me.  Round head full polish, looked unused.  The drive felt wonky,  but hey for 2 bucks?   Got home, pulled the head apart,  and the pawl is shattered.  No wear on the inner teeth,  just need the pawl.  Been looking online,  no luck,  50 miles to a HomeDepot, wonder if they might have a kit?   Tool # 24202,  help?

If it's the one I saw online I'd be willing to bet the Craftsman rebuild kit will drop right in.
Here's a side by side of the 1/4"ers (1980's C-man and 2002 Husky) - they are virtually identical. I've done a swap between them and they work.
