Sailing Husky spinner handle.
« on: December 08, 2019, 08:10:25 PM »
The other day I was at the salvage yard looking for some part. I heard a string of cuss words and something sailed over my head and rolled under the car behind me.

After a while I came back down that row of cars and found the sailing object was a greasy Husky 20210 ¼ spinner handle. Looking at how bad the handle was mangled by pliers it’s possible the cussing came from the spinner handle. LOL

Lucky it didn't end up in your ear!!!
Looking forward to seeing that restored to new condition... just because.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

No need to restore, that spinners' due for a re-handle with something donor-worthy.

Calling in Lauver for this one.

No need to bother with this spinner handle it is just right for future trips to the salvage yard.

I just don't understand abusing a tool like that. I don't think I would want somebody like that working on my vehicles. I know you can't take a ton of tools to a salvage yard but you can take what you need to get the parts taken off.

OK Jabberwoki you made me feel bad about how chewed up the handle was.
Tried spinning it in a drill but the shaft was too chucked so I us just hit the ridges with a 80-grit sanding block. I could not sand any more or the handle would be round.

Public opinion says grab the router, and set sail with some new grooving.
