Mothers mag polish
« on: August 02, 2020, 10:57:16 PM »
Beware,  this stuff doesn't like heat.

I love this stuff and I use it for polishing knife bolsters and such.
Well I keep it in my garage and I went to use it today , well the laid was a little tight and when I opened the jar the it went all over the place  :-\
It turns out the heat this summer had caused it to melt and seperate , lessen learned I guess.
From now on I'll keep the stuff in a cooler place.
Always lookin' to learn

I used to carry a bottle and polishing rags in the semi. It was a great way to kill time polishing the aluminum wheels while waiting to get unloaded or loaded. Once those big rims are polished you need to stay on them or it is a ton of work. Never had a problem like you experienced but the bottle never lasted too long as I used it up.
