The saying on the statue reflects a far different time of legal immigration. Now it is interpreted by the left to say let everybody in with no vetting and health checks. ::)

En how! Remember the Statue of Liberty was a gift to the U.S. from France. These days the only thing the French will give us is the middle finger.  >:(
