Sounds like he is asking top dollar for an incomplete bike. When an ad says 95% complete, the owner didn't want to lay out the big bucks for a speedo and tach to complete it.

I did a quick worldwide search on the bay and found zero for that year/model. I found rebuilt and used for newer models that ranged from $25 to $250. Might of been pounds sterling but I didn't look close. I bet if you find them in good shape they will be expensive. Cables and cable gearboxes would be the relatively cheap part.
