I see H. Ross Perot as Trump version 0.1. He was a great man, and although flawed in many respects, he exemplified what it means to be a proud American. He called out the globalist cabal and Pres. H.W. Bush' complicity in fleecing American jobs early on in his political career. Turns out he was right. He was a "hands-on" leader who even organized and funded his own strike and rescue team to extract two of his employees from hostile Iranian territory -- and personally oversaw the operation.
Guys like this are a product of a uniquely American culture --
God Bless Henry Ross Perot -- RIP Sir!!

He had a big following in Maine. I think he got over 20% of the vote in 92 here. Had a political party with some clout here for a few years.

I may have voted for him in 1992, but after he dropped out (and subsequently got back in) he lost any chance at it. Regardless, a truly unique individual. An interesting book I read about him was his battle with GM after he sold his company to them. His company was quite the contrast with GM with how both were ran.

This is the only reason I even know who he is.....
