Stupid politicians

NV Gov. Sisolak signed a bill trying to silence our town siren which goes off at noon and 6pm. The new law is against sundowner laws and The Washoe Tribe came up with this claim that the town siren was to tell them to be out of town by 6:30pm. Our 2 towns in the valley did have sundowner laws but the siren was related to the fire dept. and not the Indians. I doubt our town will comply with silencing the siren.

Another part of the bill deals with outlawing racially offending mascots. This will hopefully really piss of the people of Las Vegas and the state as the UNLV Running Rebels mascot Hey Reb! will have to be renamed. We just can't have a cartoon caricature Confederate soldier wearing a big floppy hat running around now can we?

Our legislature meets once every 2 years and in 4 months they can sure cause some mayhem. They had an emergency session last year to pass the mail-in voting for everybody which led to all the election fraud in this state. Excuse was the Plandemic.

You really think the natives are going to cry to the government? They learned to not trust the government as we all should. The liberals are just using them as they do everyone else.

our state legislature meets the same, every other year. And just about every time it seems they cant get anything done and have to go into a special session to finish up business. This past session they were going to vote on a safe elections bill that the Democrats opposed but didn't have the votes to kill so all the Democrats walked out. Now Abbott is threatening to not sign the budget bill so they wouldn't get paid.



A couple of interesting bills made it to Abbotts desk but he hasn't signed them yet, Constitutional carry and a Texas made suppressor bill are both on my radar. He will have a tough time getting re-elected if he doesn't sign those. But its politics and all.
