Cornwell PB4 pry bar
« on: January 11, 2020, 12:46:36 PM »
Stopped at a flea earlier but it was almost nonexistent due to rain. A few people with tools, but mostly junk.

Did manage to dig this out of a bucket-o-rust and it was only $2. The square shape caught my eye, I always like finding old Cornwell stuff so my eye didn't disappoint today.

This one is marked "15 CORNWELL PB4" and it's made from 1/2" square stock. The prying end flares out to 11/16" wide. Both ends appear made & formed very nicely and evenly. Just under 15.5" long.

I love it a diamond in the rough. These kind of finds are my fav.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Thanks fellas. This thing is old. Due to slight inconsistencies I believe it it hand forged. It looks to have seen plenty of use as an alignment bar due to dings on the tapered end, but isn't bent. When struck with another piece of metal it rings like a bell. They don't make em like they used to  ^-^
