Nice lineup. Do stores stock a good variety of model or toy tractors around your area?

the dealers always have some and my local farm supply always has a row. fleet farm and tsc always have some over the holidays.

those four took a while to put together. the john deere and the new holland are fairly common toys. the two cat challengers are not.

I say real, cab details speak to that. Foot prints another key.

found these 2 old polaroids today.  i am going to guess around 2000.

a 4230, 4440, 8450 and 8760. for the john deere guys, a tractor from the 30, 40, 50 and 60 series. the only one  i still have is the 4440. my dad bought that new and  i doubt it will ever leave the farm.

Great picture! Those 30,40,50, and 55 series tractors are the best tractors deere ever made. Throw in a boxcar magnum or two and you got a pretty trouble free line up!

i always wanted a 4850, 4955 or 4960 fwa tractor. just never had the opportunity. nobody wanted to deal on one and i ended up with my challenger 55. probably as well as it has proven reliable and was a better buy.

here is a blast from the past. i still have all of these. but have added to the fleet that leaves the yard.  the farmer is pretty conservative and things don't change much or often in the stable.

any bets on what it is? bigger? smaller? in between? wheels? track?

green?  blue? yellow? there is couple little red tractors in the fleet as well. who knows?

The Fendts are miving in around here. 8Rs are still around in force, but the big 500hp Fendts with tire pressure management and big metric singles are a force to be reckoned with. JD also canned everybody's favorite salesman for some reason, and he went over to the Agco stealership, which has helped move a few in as well. The big guys are running fleets of 9R quad track 620s pulling Wilcox rippers. It's all about the HP these days.

well, i can tell you this, it is not a fendt. they are definitely here though. there has always been a huge agco/cat presence.  every shop is filled with quadtracs in various states of undercarriage disrepair and bills in the 10's of thousands. guys are plain old sick and tired of it. fendt's hands down longer warranty and maintenance program is taking over.. i bet i could drive you to 30 new fendt tractors within 30 miles of me, tracks and tires. there a few jd track tractors but cat and case-ih have owned and case ih is losing big time and so is deere to a lesser extent.

for those not in the know. agco has been taken over by fendt and all of the challenger/cat tractors are now fendt and to some extent i can only assume the massey tractors will follow if they have not already.

Where does Fendt (AGCO) stand on the "right to repair" issue Harlan? Deere lost a lot of trust among farmers from that BS.
