No that's just a little parts area for screws.
I don't own a sight pusher.

I work on firearms occasionally,  but mostly I'm working on vintage American airguns and vintage fishing reels.
In both these areas gunsmithing drivers are ideal.

My tool purchase for the year consists of two Grobet USA Swiss pattern files cut #4 and a new quarter. LOL

No current tool buys yet but I am thinking on one.

I had a suspicion that the new Channellock pick set might be made by Mayhew but couldn't really confirm
, well it looks like I was right as confirmed by their new mini pry bar set.

These do have the proper square shank and are US made,  but the curved one is a little too curved.
I also know the handles are pretty small, and maybe a little too small for these pry bars.
At $20 for the set I may just try a set out anyways,  but I'd really like WILDE to make a proper American made version of the typical imports that are very common lately.

I went ahead and ordered 2 of the pry bar sets so I can modify one of the sets.

I also found the standard Mayhew version of the Channellock pick set, never saw them before so they must be pretty new.

The plan is to pop the handle off, trim the shank down, and reassemble to make them shorter / more pocketable because they're listed as 6 inches long.
I also plan to reduce the angle of the bent one some too, probably put it in the vice between 2 scraps of brass.
I will have one modified set to maybe carry and one stock set to go in my toolbox, in that role the length and the extreme curve may be very useful.

I saw the LANG / Matco set but the round shanks just make them seem more like bent screwdrivers to me, I'd just rather have the proper square shank like full sized handle pry bars have .
That's just me being a bit of a stickler though,  and I still might eventually try a set.

BTW Lisle just introduced a set with the help of input by a few YouTube tool channels, and they seem to be the most perfected design yet.
US made is a requirement of mine so I'm not buying because I believe they're imported, but they just might be for you if you don't care where they're made.
You get one with a magnet in the handle,  and one without a magnet that has a thicker shank.
One of the youtubers has even been talking with Lisle about getting the the thicker one made with a striking cap which would be cool.

US made is definitely a requirement, the Lisle ones look junky.
Got this today.

The one with the 3/16" thick shank looks decent,  but the clips do look chintzy
That being said I don't really need a clip.
I got a pocket pry bar in my secret Santa gift and it seems pretty decent, the shank is square which I like.
I wouldn't have bought it, but it seems to be of decent quality all things considered and it will get used.

that is one of those pry bars that chadster is selling. i ordered up a bag of them about a year ago. i have thrown one in several different toools sets and handed out a few to buddies. they were pretty scarce at that time. if you didn't pick one up from a tool truck, they didn't exist so i took a chance.  none of them have seen hard use but then again that isn't what they are for. no complaints so far.

I like the ridges in the thumb area of those pick tools. So simple an idea to help with the grip of small tools, and yet I've never thought of it. Cool!   :great:

It seems like it will hold up just fine, and is definitely sturdier than most of the other generic ones out there.
Every other generic one I've seen was thin and hardly more than a bent screwdriver.

Here's the other set with 1" cut off the shank, they ended up even shorter because the easily removed handles weren't actually pressed on as far as they will go.

And here's the reduced angle compared to the original.

I think these are going to be awesome little pry bars after the quick modifications I did that only took a minute.

Got these for Christmas.

Dremel 3000. My first Dremel, sure I'll be able to find a ton of uses for it.

Also a Railroad builders tool set. Nice assortment of tools used for building model railroads. Nice tools and box, but the plastic trays leave much to be desired. They don't hold the tools the greatest, and the trays themselves don't stay in the box.

Gonna have to find some foam to cut out and place the tools in.
