Wasn't looking for another jack, but couldn't pass this up.  Lightly used, made in the USA.  A hundy brought it home.

Those are excellent jacks....... tip, it takes a soft touch. When you close it down to raise the car, just close it. No need it torque the handle, as you might be use to with junk jacks.

If you put to much into it, it will fight you when you bring the car down. Dropping the car, instead of lowering it

I am sure this makes no sense, cause it is imposable to put into words what I'm trying to get across.

Another way of saying it. If you find that lowering the car. It is dropping the car, instead of a smooth steady speed down.

Use less man grip, when setting up to raise the car.

That jack is so smooth, you have full control of the speed coming down. Like a motor cycle throttle, you can speed up or slow the motion.

Enjoy that jack it is really really nice when you get the hang of it.

Don't you just love the size of the jack pad, just one  great jack

Cheers,
Pep

Pepi, thanks for the tips.  It's amazing just how well that jack rolls.  Reminds me of my old Walker.  I have an old Arcan that's pretty decent, but it can't compare to the HW.

Elroy, I remember that thread.  Ten years to the day!  Lot of good info there.

Shows ya how time flies when you're having fun

Lot of good info there.

All that crap is near worthless unless you're working on an O'Boy.............in which case it's a fairly good guide.

Hein Warner jacks are rare in my area, but I have captured two of them, I think the big bro versions of the Oh Boy that Elroy mentioned. It has been a long time since I have done anything with the one I tore down. I have it in parts in the shop and really need o buy a kit and get after it. The second I bought and hid behind the shed with several old Walker Greyhound jacks and another long frame premium brand I cannot even recall the name of now.

That was an excellent buy for what is available these days and I would have jumped on it myself had I been you!
You boys better hold on cause I'm gonna have to stand on it!

Elroy was unaware you ventured down the Hein Werner path. Looks real good........... especially if you look back on what you started with.
They're good jacks. Elroy trusts it will serve you well.  :-*
