And as always I had to buy something American made as well.

The little Taiwanese " Reverse gear " bit ratchet is quite nice, the square / hex drive combo is nowhere near as nice.
No surprise,  it's made in China.
It's perfectly serviceable though,  the bit side just needed a clean and oiling because it was running rough.
I'm not in love with it, but it can come in handy at work.

The other one would be great for pocket carry too, so I'm not sure what I'll do yet.

Recent habitat buys.  S-K ratchet is so smooth, 1/2 inch.  The adjustable auger bit is Irwin, used maybe once, with the short blade.  Very nice steel tape measure, leatherette cover.  Craftsman push drill,  has a full set of bits,  the 1/4 set I got mainly for the box, ratchet is junk, $2 too much?  Dropped $11 for all.

Doesn't matter. That sk by itself is an 11 dollar ratchet  all day long and twice on Sunday. ;)

I love the #337, I have a pair from my grandfather that I use all the time and are still sharp enough to cut kite string.
I had a pair of the #437 and hated them, they don't have anywhere near the leverage these do.
I also recently got the little # E336 recently that I also quite like.

Bought this 102 woodsman,  gave my 2012 102 woodsman to my dad, and have a 2010 102 woodsman with a broken handle on the way with plans to do it up in stacked leather.

I prefer carbon steel most of all, but I just love Buck and I like the finish they use on their blades.

They are the best company in the business in my opinion,  great service,  multigenerational family owned, they care and listen to their customers / fanbase, and they love to see and hear about knife stories.
I like how they pride themselves on being a tradition in many families too.

I have gifted more Buck knives than any other because I love them so much and their knives are always appreciated by whoever I gift them to.
