If you're going to stuff a woman in the trunk I'd think this would not be the best car to use. Although the trunk does seem to be roomy.

On the clear vue Pontiac,  notice the tires were cast in White rubber.   That was was driven enough miles to develop some serious cracks in the plastic,  beautifully restored now.

In the last pic by the river, did guys wear ties to go camping? Must be a cold lunch as the fire has not been lit. Staged photo?

Guys wore ties to lots of things, including blue collar jobs so I wouldn't be surprised

Absolutely -- it was a sign of professionalism and work status. I always cringe though, when I see old photos of machinists wearing ties while working with some huge lathes or mills. I always assumed they were staged photos, but an old timer confirmed that in his shop in the 30's and 40's the machinists, tool and die makers and a few other trades were required to wear ties along with an apron or overcoat over the top to keep it from dangling into machinery.
