Shoot, I paid $30 for the discontinued (but new) Chicom grinder at Ace Hardware some years ago.

Nice find! :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

Again, apparently I’mmissing something, I do not see the appeal of the Craftsman grinders. It a grinder, I have 3 of them, don’t use any of them. I have 3 Milwaukee’s and 2 Jets, I don’t use them either. Since I bought the Jancy RadiusMaster 2 x 48 belt grinder, the others set idle.

I wouldn't pass up a good grinder like the blocks for a good price. Even though we have the wife's 2 x 60 Burr King belt sander I still use a variety of bench grinders.

well, i am only going to have  50 bucks in it. i could  get my 50 back easy and maybe even double it if i tried so i am out nothing. i suppose buying and touching up old grinders is better for me than getting in or causing trouble. it is a far  better than almost any grinder you could get today that cost much more with suspect origins.

is it any worse than the quest for the perfect ratchet?
