Those seem to be left handed nippers.

"Lefty loosey, righty tighty" or "Lefty hefty, righty lighty"?  :lol_hitting:

Pexto makes some nice stuff.   :great:

Found one of those, the handles and weight make it real unfriendly to use.

Yeah not built for dainty work.

Yeah not built for dainty work.

I find that alot of tools can be repurposed easily - and they're stoutness only adds to their usefulness.

I have a pair of farriers (horse shoeing) nippers that I use for ductwork installation jobs. Seems the tight, pointy tips are great for grabbing the drive cleat channel on sheet metal and pulling them together so you can connect the ducts.  :great:

I got a similar piece around here somewhere. Never found much use for them, but didn't get rid of them either. :lol_hitting:

Nice nippers and the longer the handle the better and easier they work. I still have have my farrier nippers and big gun rasp in the tack room. They will never touch anything other than hooves. I bought them and used them when one of the horses damaged a hoof and I needed to clean it up until the farrier could get there.
Usually the mare as she didn't wear shoes.
