Title: Firestone DOE wrench
Post by: coolmercury on April 08, 2021, 03:24:46 PM
I don't collect these, but this is only the second one I have come across in the wild.  So now I have two, a 1/2-9/16 and this one, a 9/16-5/8.  Could not pass it up for $1.00.

Funny thing, I picked up a set of 1/2 in drive Firestone sockets today. First ones I've seen in the wild.

Had a friend with a set of 1/2 in. Drive sockets marked Firestone.  Probably sold at a Firestone store once connected with gas stations.

They were sold at Firestone service centers & tire stores, probably the same back then!  I believe most were made by Plomb. I have a few sets of sockets & some loose wrenches.  I'll try to get some photos.
