Title: Snap-on K21 box
Post by: J.A.F.E. on September 05, 2018, 06:42:47 PM
I got this one a little while ago but don't recall which swap. It's a K21 MechaniKit made mid to late 30's. This one was pretty dirty when I got it but it still has the shelf for the bottom drawer and the optional KT-1 tote tray which was an $0.85 option. The box cost depending on where you lived as much as $9.95. Right now it holds most of the brake tools but there will be some shuffling around going on and likely will be the new home collector wrenches and the snath wrenches, stuff like that. I lined the drawers in cork.

I cleaned it up some and straightened a few bends but otherwise it's as as found. The handle is as I bought it and I have been considering putting a new leather wrap on the handle.
