California just "extended" the effective date of their ban on fossil fuel electric power plants - I guess the continued threat of rolling blackouts because of their reliance on solar and wind power became too big to ignore. Plus they've made changes to their gig job bill so more small businesses could stay in business.
And several big lib cities are finding out it's easy to talk defund the police but not so easy to actually do it. Three months of nightly rioting and BLM showing up at mayors homes may have made them see some light!
Only looking better and better for trump in November.
AHHHH Yes, solar and wind look so appealing..............until the lights go out. Solar and wind can only work if you have base load capacity, base load capacity can only be supplied by know and consistent power generators. ie coal, NG, hydro, nuclear.
What kills me is grid experts warned of this in the early 2000's and again in 2008 and again in 2015..........but the California state government is still wanting that guilt free electricity. Wanna know the dirty secret of California electricity? Most of consumption is imported from out of state...... and when demand is high out of state producers supply to their customers before selling excess Kw to California, as they should.
So if you are reading this in California and have to shut you AC off when it gets hot and your mad as hell, go vote out your "leaders".
