I know of 3 illegal grows withe 30mins of me and their just poor folk looking to pay bills... As someone who has their card i can tell you its cheaper to buy Home grown than dispensary weed and is usually stronger since they have limits set how strong weed can be... One guy i know grows in michigan for dispensary's and sells the stuff to strong for them on the street.

did you read it? illegal pot operation run by a group, doesn't matter what group, with huge pollution. would it be ok if it was a large mfg. or cattle operation polluting.
i could give to shits about a guy growing for himself, i know of a grow within a mile of my place. maybe 3 or 4 plants. illegal grow operations are usually run in coordination with other illegal activities.

I dont think that was a personal consumption grow. And I seriously doubt they was just poor folks trying to get by. The worst part of this one is probably the loss of taxes for the Feds. Thats what brought out the raid. Feds gotta get their cut.That is the only reason the government ever cares.....$$$$

Dustin, with that kind of operation, organized crime is involved and you can bet violence comes in there at some point. And you can just about bet that they are involved in other activities such as sex trafficking and opioids, especially if they are Chinese,.i missed the organized crime part...

Yes you missed one of the most important parts which is a foreign crime syndicate is responsible. Environmental damage is severe with 22 acres which destroyed the native plants, chemical damage, human waste from 82 workers polluting the ground and trash. They also drilled illegal wells which caused trees near the wells to die. So they dumped chemicals which may leach into our aquifer and wash down in the watershed to cause more damage.
The state is the ones losing taxes and they messed up by putting it on federal tribal lands. Yea, what's the harm.

Why is it that many states can " legalize " a federally controlled and illegal substance like marijuana, but no states can " legalize " the manufacture of and sale of new machine guns ?
I'm not saying marijuana shouldn't be legal because I don't think it's a bad thing, but it certainly doesn't seem right that this federally illegal thing can be " legalized " on a state level but nothing firearms related can.
