Title: Plomb no. 217 steeldraulic brake pliers

I've seen these in other brands, was excited to find a Plomb set today, my first pair of Plomb pliers in the wild. I live in NE Ohio, don't come across much Plomb here.

 Not much shows up in a google search. Also found a Plomb 708S adjustable at the same estate sale, and some other goodies

Here are the center drills. Box says 12 but there is one missing.
Whitman & Barnes Plymouth, MI made in USA
this box was $1  :)

Thanks guys. I found these pliers in the 1942 catalog but gone by the late 40s. Here is a catalog page.

I cleaned up the tap handle. The only markings I can find are 'No. 6' but it looks identical to my other GTD no. 6

I got the Billings & Spencer 6" curved adjustable cleaned up. Despite being cleanly stamped with the owner's name on both sides of the wrench, it is otherwise very nice. Here's to you, H.MUELLER, for taking care of your stuff.

Oh, and the random lever arm...has a brass tag riveted to it saying "The H-P-M Co. Galion, Ohio" did a bit of digging, the company (The Hydraulic Press Manufacturing Co.) was in business from 1877 until 2010. They made cider presses and hydraulic presses.

Neat finds, never seen a pliers like that. What vehicles had those style adjusters?
