Interesting.
I didn't know they made a smal pair of the GL's.
I have a large pair that I've never been a fan of but maybe they would be better in this size.

I just got these in a $5 handful at a yardsale.
Pre '86 nut construction,  the F&F is the same as my current #526 but they are thicker.
The condition is also about the same or a little better than my 5 year old pair too so that's good.

You usually don't find the plastic on the handles in good shape on a pair that old. Nice find.

I know,  and they were in a bucket of other stuff too which makes it even more surprising.

It would have been cooler if they were a model I've never tried before, but I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't have a use for 'em.

Just got this decal in.

As far as the tools themselves goes, I currently have 28 pairs of their pliers & cutters , a full array of their screwdrivers, and a Camillus electricians knife with a Channellock blade etch.

I really like those little Channies!
They've been pretty handy so far.
There's no teeth or texture of any kind inside the jaws, but that hasn't been a problem.

I'd like it if there were teeth, but really my only complaint is the spring but those are easy to just take out and toss.
I just don't like spring loaded pliers,  especially in precision situations.
Having to fight spring pressure just makes it more difficult to finagle whatever small thing I'm fiddling with.

If it's an original and not a copy, that would be a Christy knife.
Made by the Christy knife company and invented in the 30's.
This one is a current production companion model ( only difference in models being the finish) made on the original equipment by the grandson of the inventor.
