Springfield XDs
« on: March 25, 2019, 06:02:36 PM »
Went to a gun show about an hour away yesterday. Wasn't really expecting to buy anything. Had my eyes open for a ground hog gun or a revolver. But always looking out for a good deal.

I've always wanted a .45. I'd prefer a all steel 1911 but they are out of my budget right now.

I'm a Ruger fan when it comes to pistols and revolvers. However I like anything that you can squeeze the trigger and goes bang reliably.  I've shot a few of my friends' Springfields before and have liked them.

And the #1 reason I went for it was the price. $280....$300 after tax and stuff for a brand new XDs .45 I couldn't walk away.i

For that price you stole it! -- It'll kick like a mule until you get used to the recoil of a polymer 45, but at that price -- who cares!

I doubt if Tim is too limp wristed so he can handle the mule kick.

Definitely takes a bit more grip then holding a heavy 1911
