Title: New Chapman stubby handle bit driver
Post by: hickory n Steel on March 29, 2020, 08:37:07 PM
I was just on their site ordering a few things ( 6 bits, a driver handle, an extension, and an extension spacer ) When I saw these and just had to add one to the order, at $1.50 how could I not .
I was actually going to but myself a second extension and make one of these myself, but now I don't have to butcher one of my own screwdrivers and this was cheaper than the regular extension by itself was.

Their site says they're of limited quantity because they made 'em from extensions with bad detents on the male end, still good to go on the working end though.

I was going to get myself a set of gunsmithing screwdrivers for the airgun repair and tinkering, but I realized the Chapman route would be a lot cheaper.
Bought a basic 1316 set a while back and have been adding the few things I need here and there.
Add the couple Robertson bits I keep forgetting to buy and I'll be all set for under $40.

part number?
They don't have a part number.
I guess because they're just making use of these defective extensions and never planned to offer them.

Oh and it was actually $1 not $1.50.
Would be an awesome tool for one measly dollar.
