Nope, I had a bad experience with bees some years ago and the stings turned into 1 inch red discs and didn't go away for 2 weeks. Guess I'm allergic.

Plus I've watched too many bee vids on youtube. :-\

So we shouldn't call you B-man for short?   :))

You should call a bee person/farmer. They`ll come and collect them.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

It would probably have to be someone who doesn't mind working with Africanized bees. :o

Well these new bees have sure shown what workers they are. Within 2 hrs of being put in the new hive box they`re already brining back pollen.
Today I cut a branch of one on my trees with a swarm on it from one of the hives and put in in another box so another active hive in the mix.
We took the top off the box that was under the swarm to check on it and it was chockers full with about 7 new queen cells. Man these bees are incredible.

Well you're helping to pollinate the surrounding crops and getting honey to boot. Could be a valuable resource during the corono shutdown. Good barter material, too.   :great:

I`m going to take those frames out and give them to a mate who`s bees died off.
Was defiantly cool harvesting that swarm though.

So now you're breaking out in hives.

Do y'all have issues with the Africanized bees where you are? They are really prevalent here in south Texas, just about every swarm you find will be bad, several people have been killed by them here. With all the liability lawsuits I decided I didn't want to mess with bees.
one of my buds from the café raised a ton of them but he's slowly getting out, too much work for him now and between the colony collapse, varroa mite and Africanized bees he doesn't have many hives left.
