I`ll prolly find a plastic stock to hunt with. i`ve got the same 2 stock set up with my 45/70.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Leupold is definitely worth considering. Nikon Monarchs are also decent scopes for reasonable money but I don't remember ever seeing one in silver.

Silver definitely limits your options CONSIDERABLY. Damn do the look nice on a stainless gun though.

Weaver and Nikon both offer some silver scopes. Lots of choices on Amazon.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Zeiss-Conquest-3-9x40mm-Rifle-Scope-Used-Silver/382739218842?epid=1637607973&hash=item591d09019a:g:cLsAAOSwT5tcGH-D:sc:USPSPriority!98371!US!-1:rk:1:pf:0

Would be OK for the win mag but not enough scope for the .22-250 IMO. For that I'd be looking for something parallax adjustable with higher magnification. Personally I'd go cheaper on the win mag and sink some real money into glass for the .22-250. Give me a few minutes then check your PMs ;)

Ditto on Matt's comment. I would never go smaller than a 4x12x40 on a hunting gun anymore. Maybe on a short action I was trying to get light to pack in. Silver is going to limit you on options majorly.

Nightforce is calling that 22's name...

Yeah yeah , I haven't even got the bloody guns yet.

I`m thinking hard about that big Zeiss for the 22.
I`m giving up on the one scope idea.

Check their warranty. Don't want to buy a $600 paperweight or spend that much again on a repair.

This is what spooks me on a used scope.

Yeah that could be a problem with the Zeiss. Germans ain't got the best reputation for warranty service even if the product is covered.

You should be good with the better US scopes. Most of them are lifetime transferable warranty. One exception to that is Redfield. Their new owner, Leupold, won't honor the warranty on older scopes.
