If this could be gotten for $90 or less would it be worth it?

Im just not a fan of crapsman boxes they just seem lower quality.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

It looks like one of the new Lowes boxes, which are supposed to be USA....................

Beyond that crapsman really ain't that great but it's prolly worth $90. And the deep top looks useful if you've got a bunch of cordless that needs secure-ish storage.

They are pretty tinny IMO,  but that is some cheap storage if needed

If you need storage , what else could you get for $ 90.00. I'm not as picky about boxes as I use to be. In my garage the top is always open. .

I agree with the cheap storage. If this is for your basement being able to lock up larger tools under that lid will keep them out of inquisitive young hands.

It's worth it -- a few dents won't matter as long as it functions. The box quality is about the same as any other modern homeowner grade box from Lowes or Home Depot

To me, no, but without the damage yes.  That's a lot of damage.

I was in Lowes the other day and they had a new tool box display.  Can't remember if it was Cman or not but it looked like a nice deep box,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,until you pulled the drawers open.  About 3 inches shallower then the box was deep.  Very deceptive looking

that is a lot of damage to have to look at every day. that said it is a lot of storage for that money. i have seen guys buy  damaged boxes and cut the top off to use in service trucks and the like.

cut the top off, fab some trim and turn it into an intermediate box maybe?

The value as a collectable is 20 bucks for parts.  The utility value, if you need to lock up some tools and don't care about the looks, is at least the asking price.  Since it already has damage, you could hack a hasp and padlock on it and not hurt your investment.

Not many cheap 52" top boxes on the used market.

Might be an easier sale down the road if you get tired of it.  Most buyers are users, not collectors.
