I do love that car. Just a little rich for my blood at the moment.

You have to wear a top hat while driving it

I have more (and better) teeth than that guy.

I would love a wide mouth TR3 though. Maybe someday.

Sorry, but my fat gut wouldn't squeeze into that car.

Maybe my right leg would.    :D

Yeah, I don't think I could get my body that low to the ground anymore!

It would remind me of my first car, a Datsun Roadster.

It's hard enough for me to get out of the wife's Focus!   :))

The TR3 isn't that bad getting out the Spitfire though is lower and the door doesn't open quite as wide.

My dad had a TR3 when I was a kid. He bought side curtains for it and somebody promptly stole them. :(

I might still have the factory shop manual for it around here somewhere.

I always liked that model

Put a new chassis under it and power it with a turbo rotary... Corvettes won`t know what hit em.

In 2000 we were stuck in Queenstown after Warbirds over Wanaka so we went to the car museum. They told us "We're shutting down, everything is going next week, sit in anything you want". I sat in the E Type Jag. With the sill basically at the seat height it was interesting trying to get out. Nowadays, with a dodgy knee, I would probably be a permanent fixture  :D
