Hickory wood handles for tools
« on: April 20, 2019, 04:26:17 PM »
Can't remember where I read about this site, so, if I'm plagerizing someone, please forgive me. I just wanted to make sure the info got up where everybody here could see it.
American grown and made hickory wood tool handles for all sorts of garden and carpenters tools. Check it out!

:-[ I probably got it from you, then. Sorry bro.

I printed a few hardcopies and then wrote them into my home remedies and handyman tips file.

I believe every hammer Elroy owns has a wood handle with the sole exception of a single fiberglass claw hammer. There's something about hickory that just feels right.

I'd guess you'd need something like that on a stuck burner... :D

I'm not sure I even own a hammer with anything but a wood handle  ;)

Actually I know I do, two of them.
an old fiberglass handled Cooper Tools era PLUMB rip claw of my grandfather's, and an old Stanley curved claw with a really flat fiberglass handle.
The plumb was his go-to, but I can't stand it or the Stanley.
I just keep them around because they were his but do not use them, especially the Stanley which is the least comfortable handle I've ever heard.
Always lookin' to learn
