Of course GM doesn't mind if the Chinese copy the classic Corvette. If anybody else tried it they would be sued to high heaven.

China is GM's biggest market, and they will bend over without creating any problem for the Chinese. The car's proportions look strange to me, and I doubt there are many buyers for this design -- even in China.

They sure didn't do a very good job on copying that. Despite the casual similarity to a 58 maybe GM is getting a royalty.

Yep, those Vettes look obese! :))

They look like Stevie Wonder designed them.

I'd swear those are 13" rims with low profile tires to round out the look.
Peeeeeeuuuuuuuw

I get the same reaction from that as the new Rustang, Challenged and Camaron. Meh, they tried to make a modern car a classic.
Except if this one wears a Mistu licenced power plant and no computer, I might want one.
I had the misfortune of getting stuck in two late model Rustang crash rebuilds, if the main harness gets damaged its done. If it goes swimming, its done.
A three ton paperweight.

OOOFF damn typical chinese copy.
-
The odd proportions seem to indicate a front wheel drive train. Other than that, just odd.

I'd agree with the exception of the Challenger. They captured the lines of the classic pretty darn close. But then again I drive a plymouth what do I know :))
