Slowly moving into the 21st century -

Scanners and analyzers are modern wonders, but if you want to connect an auxiliary device like a scope or VOM you often have to find and backprobe the OBDII connections. These little breakout boxes are just the ticket for making connections to your OBDII interface datastream a breeze. They used to be expensive, but these days, they're fairly cheap on ebay -- about $20 shipped. Direct ship from China is about two/three weeks.

I'm in the process of upgrading some basic digital diagnostic equipment, and this is/was on top of the list.

That is pretty cool. I bet it would be hard to buy the connectors for $20.

Do you have a 'scope?

Yes, I have a standard digital oscilloscope for general electronics work -- but not a specific automotive scanner/analyzer that includes a scope.

I have a Tektronix 465B. I just love the 465's. I know there are better but I'm a Luddite in many ways.
