Eco Tireflator
« on: June 07, 2019, 01:45:31 PM »
My cousin buys storage units down in Fla. He's been doing this for well over 30yrs. Not storage wars bullshit----lol.
He found this in one of the buys many years ago. He gave it to my brother in-law, and when we bought this house in 2012, Marv asked if I wanted it---------helllll yessss.
So I got it a couple yrs ago-----thought I'd share  :)

Chuck
If it aint broke----fix it till it is-----there's nothing more permanent than a temporary fix.

Beautiful Chuck! That would be worth a good restoration -- IIRC you can still find parts for these old inflators.

And by the way------It works perfect as she is ------DING-DING-DING.  :)

What - it's not electronic digital!  :-\

Seriously though, if I had my fix-it-crew shop going, I'd restore something like that and stick it on the pump island for show!

I got one from an estate sale that was Sonoco blue under the brushed on white latex paint.  The glass was broken & the chrome pitted.  Its currently on my to do list.  I have the parts, paint, and a manual. My big concern is that if I mount it outside the garage, some fine individual will decide that he needs it when I'm not home.

If I had one I would have it mounted next to my garage.

That thing is just plain VintageCool.  :-*

Several years ago I passed up an old AC Delco spark plug cleaner cuz I didn't have the dough. Still regret it to this day.  :'(
