Title: Blue Points Chicago Tappet Wrenches
Post by: snapmom on March 07, 2024, 02:52:52 PM
A complete set of Blue Points Chicago Tappet wrenches.  Models T1213 thru T3230  3/8" thru 1".  would date about 1925-26. This took several years to finish.   There are some earlier ones with no "T" in the model number. During the pictured version, the name/model number were stamped on the head, later was moved to the shaft.

Interesting set snapmom. Tappet wrenches up to one inch is very intriguing. Must have been a general purpose set for both cars and trucks. Very nice condition -- congratulations.

Never seen a BP version of those. I have bought and passed on a number of Bonney brand tappets through the years. I also bought a Cman set of tappets some years ago before they went belly up. I don't recall ever seeing tappet wrenches as large as 1" in any brand either.

Well done!

Always intrigued me the angle they put on older tappet wrenches. Such a little angle.
