Title: Snap on BH16 Brass Hammer

Hard to find one that is original and hasn't been beat up.  No date code on this, but would probably date 60s. 
To refurbish a wood handle,  rub down with 0000 steel wool to get the burrs out,  put on good coat of olive oil, let it sit for awhile and then remove the excess with a cloth.  this helps to rejuvenate the color and leaves a non oily finish with no stick.

I have a soft-faced version that's a little newer who's handle could use the same treatment.

I'd use boiled linseed oil because olive oil can go rancid, but any oil is better than none.

That's a nice looking hammer there, I've never seen a Snapon brass hammer before but I've never really seen that many Snapon hammers really.
