Dont agree with rest but i agree a drug charge shouldnt send you to jail or ruin your life.

Why not, their lives are already ruined when they get addicted.

And maybe theres another way, but I will say that parole has kept my moms husband from going back, without having gone to prison and being put on parole he would still be on heroin.

according to who... I know someone on crack who does it everyday but holds a steady job and provides for his family... Hell my own uncle has smoked pot everyday since he was 15 for 40yrs and hes literally a genius and a top level electrical engineer at a factory.. Jail dont stop shit. I know ppl who used to buy clean piss for drug test so they could use.. Ppl will only get clean when they want to and forcing them aint helping shit.... Just cause you dont agree with it doesnt make it wrong....
