Our place of work was shut down today due to the cold.  I got up early anyhow and checked the temperature at daybreak.

What does the wind chill take it down to?

What does the wind chill take it down to?

Its pretty calm today so far.  The calm overnight is part of what led to such a low actual temp this morning. I don't believe the wind was much of a contributing factor this morning to a lower windchill.

Leaving work yesterday, the actual temp was around 25 below zero.  There was a stiff northwest wind that brought the windchill down to about 55 below zero.

Numerous schools yesterday and today closed along with a lot of businesses.  The United States Postal service is not delivering mail today in a 3 or 4 state area.  I'm thankful to be home with Linda today (we work at the same place).  Its 11:30 AM here and the temp has only risen to 27 below zero.  Forecast for Saturday is supposed to be 30 degrees ABOVE zero!

Officially - Right knee arthroscopic partial medial meniscectomy. In plain English I had keyhole surgery to trim up torn cartilage in my right knee.

Praying for a speedy recovery for you.  Had one done years ago that was successful.  Knee will be quite tender despite how small the incisions look.  Knee up and ice packs are your friend for the first few days.  I noticed that the tenderness was quite keen at first and diminished over 60 days.

I hope you heal fast Justin. I've never torn up my knees just a shoulder. Does that mean I am not out playing hard enough?

There are surgical grades of superglue but the regular stuff does work. The best part is Permatex makes one - 4013 medical device grade.

From what I've seen, shoulder is way worse recovery then a knee, but I never had a shoulder done

I had a meniscus tear repaired and was up and going with a few days. But it hurt at times for weeks afterward. Anything that involved a clutch was  :-\ :-\

The deep divide .... ? The worst cuts are  on the knuckle, & take forever to heal.

As for what I did, glued a whisker in the window channel of the coupe. 3M has a great wether strip adhesive, it also takes practice the figure how to use it correctly .... I've finally graduated LoL
Think I'll have the glass in tomorrow, get the lower stop set and on to the driver side. And took down  Christmas lights from the outside..
