Went a bid board auction, was interesting how they conduct it. It's basically a monthly silent auction. This is where it differs.... (Taken from website)

"The final day for bidding is the first Saturday of the month beginning at 10:00 AM. You need not be present. Each section will be defined prior to issuing a 1-minute warning (announced by the Auctioneer). After the initial minute, that section will go into an overtime phase. Anyone wishing to bid during the overtime phase must indicate their intent to bid verbally by stating the word "Time". Each time the word "Time" is stated, the 15 second overtime clock will be reset. Bidding will continue in the overtime phase until there are no bids anywhere in that section for a full 15 seconds. When a period of 15 seconds passes without a "Time" statement, that section will close. The highest Bidder at the time of closing will be the winner of the merchandise."

Went there for non tool items, even though there were some interesting tools there.

Glass install FAIL, turns out it was not wide enough, and coming out of the channel. That was actually was a good thing. Had some channel so using my new skill, Mr 3M to the rescue, replaced the old, might as well i'm in there.

This has turned out to be an education/practice for the driver's side. I mean I've now dicked around with this , baring the weather/work for 3 frigging weeks ... too funny

Grab some card board, make a pattern, once fitted, transfer it onto ply wood. Monday back to the glass man.

Funny how sometimes delays end up helping. Example, week before last dropped off a window  on a Monday.  Friday call cause they told me a couple of days, so I gave em the week..  No go, ok I say, thinking over that weekend, deiced I need to get the glass back and verify the fit.  Turns out that was the right thing to do.

I'm sure as I told the glass man that I wanted to do that, the old measure twice cut once. He was smiling, saying know what you mean, I was reading this guy's not coming back.... Tomorrow he is in for a surprise LmaO

Lifes twist and turns sure make the ride great\\Pep

Officially - Right knee arthroscopic partial medial meniscectomy. In plain English I had keyhole surgery to trim up torn cartilage in my right knee.

If this was an Aussi he would have walked if off..

Kidding, take it easy mate.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

Looks like Kroger carries it in the Richmond/Rosenburg area. Next time I head to Houston I will have to stop and try it.

We get Turkey Hill locally and like it just fine.   Not high end ice cream but certainly good with some good flavors

Had to take the truck into the shop. Front end noise. of course, that left me stranded all day without a vehicle. Called the shop at noon - they hadn't gotten to it yet. Finally around 1:15 they call and say they can't hear anything up front and everything feels fine. No one to give me a lift, so I jump on to my bicycle and huff it 40 minutes to the shop. Was feeling pretty winded.

So, all in all a wasted day. Going through some more tools to put on the classifieds, though. Some of you guys should like that.
