Friend of mine came by and took me with him fishing today. Now, I am no fisherman and ( Take note Fish and Game Warden ) I didn't do any fishing. Allen casted for bait, but didn't get much. He fished while I sat on a 5 gallon bucket and we talked a lot. Lots of old stories and new stories. Of course I took my camera along and was able to get a few shots. By the way- No fish were disturbed in this outing!

^^^^if you give more detail, we can likely shed some light

One guess would be a bad gfi outlet
I got it sorted out.
The sets of load lines were joined with wire nuts and had leads coming off to the receptacle because most likely both wouldn't fit in the old receptacle.
I just eliminated all of that and connected both sets directly and now it's all good to go.

Bought a Christmas tree, it wasn’t to heavy.   :))

They get heavier every year Bob -- or more likely, I get weaker. Bought two yesterday, and the tree lot was in a frenzy. Damn things are getting expensive. Apparently there's a shortage this year.

Ain't no shortage Ray, it's just the area where you live :))

Well apparently I was wrong.  I was reading in the newspaper today that there is indeed a shortage of Christmas trees and prices are higher.

I was really just busting on Ray and the area he lives in because it is densely populated and has a higher cost of living being right next to DC.

But this shortage can be traced back to the recession in 08 and some dry years that took its toll on trees.  During the recession, sales were off because folks didn't have the money, less trees were planted to replace what was sold and then the dry weather slowed down the growth and hence, we are here in shortageville.  Larger trees are especially harder to find.  I believe it takes 5 plus years to grow a Christmas tree to small height and longer for tall and some species.

Congrats^^^
Thanks.
Got some experience and bought some tools I should have anyways.

Picked one of these up at the local hardware and it worked out great.
Thought it was supposed to be about $11 but I was only charged about $4.
I'm going to leave it loaded up as a dedicated go-to kit for minor electrical stuff.

Replaced a air handler blower motor that the diagnosis stumped me of why it was blowing fuses. I hate crawling around in that attic, and the replacement motor had to come out in the squirrel wheel housing as one unit, over attic conduit, ducting, and who-see-whats-its up there to disassemble on dry land. I'm taking some Ibuprofen now so I dont feel like such an old-n-slo man in a few hours. Thats young'un work climbing around up there.

Friday here and we knocked off for the year at 3:00pm. It is a bit overcast and only 66F (only about 15 people jumped off the wharf down the road into the harbour this afternoon) but the beer is still cold on the deck.

Merry Christmas Rural -  thanks for posting all those great NZ pics. I'll never get there, but my daughter is itching to go in the next few years.

Removed deck boards off friends deck for the boards. Boards 100% plastic. 60 bucks a board. Got over 50. SS screws also.
