Be happy to.

Just as soon as I'm done explaining it mine.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

Mexico has an entire culture of using stuff up and repairing the unfixable.  It can go into unsafe territory but most times it just re-voids the warranty of stuff long out of warranty.

I brought home more free junk tonight to reassemble into a new bike wheel for my next project.    No fun in buying a pre made wheel.  Just have to get new spokes soon.  Can't recycle those.

My grandfather went through the depression saved everything.

My dad inherited that trait...and saves everything.

I don't save as much but I can definitely be pack rat like them.

Just watched 3 C-130's fly by the house. The NV Air Guard are honoring first responders and healthcare workers with flybys of our regional hospitals including a few in CA at Tahoe area. New York and New Jersey got the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels and we got the High Rollers.

Muddy, I notice the blocks under the forklift. what do y'all use to lift one up with? They seem way too close to the floor for a regular jack.

When you're done with that we have a trans to stuff back into a late model JD backhoe.  You should be well practiced with the magic four letter words for that.

I'll buy the tacos but no beers sales allowed lately.  Its all crap beer anyway,

Got the floor in yesterday,  and filled it with junk today.

I've still got a bunch of junk to store in it, but ( minus the bikes) everything in it needs to eventually be taken to goodwill when they're open.
Always lookin' to learn

Made another little lighting upgrade to my truck. No more flashlights and lighters to find shit in the bed of the truck. $35 and under 2 hours install. I have no idea why I didn’t do this years ago. Wired up to the factory upfitter switches for a super clean install. All trucks should come with pre wired AUX switches.

To lift them up and put them on blocks we use a bigger forklift.

We also have low clearance jacks fir quick jobs.

Drove the 40 miles east around the mountains to my sister's house to finish welding the angle iron frame for pavers by the house. If they would put a tunnel through the mountain I would only have to go about 10-12 miles. There is a dirt road behind our house that goes over the mountains and comes out just north of her house but it takes longer than the 40 mile drive.

One of the hood hatches on the Caterpillar 426 backhoe was missing a latch.  No budget and yellow parts cost a firstborn, so we adapted one from a 1970 Cat 951 crawler.  Giving it that cool retro look on a tight budget.    The original type can be padlocked.

I picked up this old Schwinn American over the weekend ($50) and started to get her up and rolling. Pulled off the sissy bar, banana seat and ape-hangers, put some things that look a little more age appropriate (its a '62) and took it for a spin around the block.

Forgot to get pics of it with the new seat, and the bars are a loaner from my Hercules project. I can't hit the used bicycle parts place until this whole idiocy is over, but I can put some things together to get going.
