My laptop has the on/off button pooched. I just never turn it off. ;)

I've tried working on them in the past and the ribbon cable is my nemesis. Good job getting that one going.

Moved a bunch of yard related tools that were cluttering up the garage into the shed.

I removed 2 bicycles from the shed, and I was able to fit 2 lawn mowers , and a bunch of other yard related tools including the 2 string trimmers, and I've still got more room in the shed.
I can actually access everything in the shed fairly easily.

Thank God the handles on push mowers fold out of the way.
Always lookin' to learn

Drove over 150 miles roundtrip to get my first Covid vaccine shot. The only county in the state doing younger than 65 is a couple of counties to the east. Weather sucked and had to wait 3 hours in line to get the shot. Had snow most of the way home heavy at times but the blacktop was too warm to stick fortunately. Feel fine now but will see in the morning if this Moderna vaccine causes any ill effects.

Answered a survey in Danish, I don't speak Danish

My favourite weather site, www.yr.no, a Norwegian site, changed its layout late last year. Quite frankly the new layout is rubbish. They are still running their old site at www.retro.yr.no and I use this site every day.

New site

Old site

There is a survey on the retro site so I took it. It is in Danish with no English option. Between my translate app and Google translate I filled it in.

Now we have finished for the week and are sitting in our lunch room having a few drinks and watching Team New Zealand beat Luna Rosa in the America's Cup.

At Pukehina, a seaside settlement about 20 minutes east, for a car show and market. It is a fund raiser for the local volunteer fire, ambulance and surf life saving services.

It is pretty casual with a wide range of vehicles

Oil drum chairs from a market stall.

The view from the opposite side of the road.

I spent the day looking at cars myself. Last week the wife told me she wanted a new car :c002: :c002: We've been looking at different rides and she settled on a Toyota Hilander. We spent all morning with the saleman getting everything down that she wanted so they could try and find one before we order. We're walking out for lunch and she changes her mind on what color she wanted. :lol_hitting: :lol_hitting:That poor salesman. :hee20hee20hee: he gonna earn his money with her.

Good choice IMHO, we just bought a new Rav4, nice car but far to much safety crap on it like lane assist etc etc. No doubt that crap is going to break and have to be fixed. Expensive???

Is it something in the air or just that time of year. The wife has been researching the new Toyota Tacoma and Tundra online.

Good luck. Down here they don’t even have a Tacoma on the lot. I believe he said they had one Tundra.

must be. the wife has interest in a new trailblazer. it may be time to downsize but we really like our traverse so that is on the radar as well.

spent most of the day looking for a friends dog. my son was dog sitting for them and their about one year old dalmation female jumped the fence and went on the run. she crossed town, crossed the border into mn and crossed the town there. the little bitch is made of coil springs and rubber bands. spent all afternoon in a swampy area swimming back and forth across the river. if she wasn't so cute we would have strangled her when we caught her. pretty sure that she and dogs we took looking for her had a blast and would do it again tomorrow. :38:

Upgraded the bushing on the snout of the shifter. Really a poor squishy item, not sure what words to use, cheap shit seems appropriate. I like the throw, but this thing, made things feel sloppy .

The headache, seen in the last picture. Is a factory assembly clip, sandwiches the bolt hole for the bushing mount.

Creates interference on the thread so it does not fall off.

I've had new kitchen cabinets sitting downstairs since last May. Never had time to do them so I finally hired a carpenter to install them. I had already taken down old wall cabinets, painted the walls. Today I took out sink, dishwasher, stove top, oven and Island. Biggest worry is granite countertops, where sink cutout is, very very fragile. Going to clamp some angle iron the length of that portion of counter and hope I have it free from cabinets before we try to move it. The long section of granite weighs approx 400 lbs, that should be interesting. Already spent a shit ton of money on cabinets, want to save counter tops, sink, stove and oven

Well yesterday. Local signs contractor gave me a street name blade and brackets out of their scrap bin and printed me some new overlays.

This is for in the motorsport park where our race track is, on the last intersection where there is currently no sign. I had planned to install the pole and these signs yesterday but it was getting quite late in the afternoon and a beer was calling. That might have to be a job for tomorrow after work.

Edit: all the roads in the motorsport park are named after hunting dogs that are now in the big hunting grounds in the sky.

For some time my ute has been running rough when I start it and seems down on power. This morning I took it in to the local diesel specialists, rather than he Nissan agent. They diagnosed injectors and installed a a new set.
