Hopefully they got him in to surgery and Muddy is in recovery. My wife broke her leg at work many years ago now, she thought she should be a good employee and not complain about the pain years after and they weaseled out of taking care of her issues. Stay on top of any issues he may have after all this.

Yikes , nothing hurts like a finger injury.
Hope it goes as well as it can Mudds.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Sorry for the delayed update. Tim had surgery late afternoon yesterday. They fixed his ring finger and they were able to save the tip of his middle finger. He is doing well. He has one more round of IV antibiotics and then we are blowing this pop and going home! He is already bored and wants to go back to work. He doesn't sit still very well so it's going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. They mean a lot to us.

Mandy

Good news Mandy, and thanks for the update. Hang in there, and tell our boy that we're all rooting for him.

He'll be walking around with his hand in the air, to reduce the throbbing.  Glad to hear the tips were saved.  Got stitches in most of my digits over the years, just takes time to get back to normal.    Tell him to take it easy, let things heal,  and for gosh sakes dont bang it up trying to do too much too soon.  Think of all the honeydo things that can be done one handed.  Hang in there Muddy

That is good news. Now you just have to make him behave and give the digits a chance to heal.

Dominant hand in a bandage, he gonna be taking lots of showers. BTDT.

Never realized how much we rely on our good hand for most everything till you try to wipe with the wrong hand...

That’s horrible news he smashed his hands. That hurts mine to hear. Hope you have a full recovery.

I Made it home Sunday night around 10 pm.

Guess I'll be off work for at least a week till they take the splint off and go from there. Unfortunately as much as I want to get back to work it may be longer then that as I'm not sure how things work with the pin they have holding it together.

I'm on antibiotics and some pain pills. For the most part it's just a dull constant pain. Nothing major. Gonna take some time getting used to not having my dominant (left) hand.

Received a call from a certain farmer that was much appreciated!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

Tim

Has Sam said he would take over while you are temporarily incapacitated?

He wasn't to sure about me. He avoided me for most of the night I first came home. The dog isn't fond of the wrapping either. I don't blame him it has quite a chemically smell.
