In PA all vehicles including passenger car inspections were six months until the early 80's.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

We have annual inspections on commercial vehicles, the truck cops are part of the state police. The vast majority I have had interactions with want to do a paper work check and very rarely put on their work cloths and crawl under a truck.

I'm not sure the guys hauling seacans out of Houston even know what an annual inspection is. 3 different colors, DOT#s written in cardboard and taped on the door. Temp tags on the tractor, Probably faked. Sketchy all the way around.

Ghost cars have been a problem here for years, just took a while for the trucking market to catch on.

No, if there were Friday night beers tonight. Tonight is Mid-winter Christmas event that I should be going to as it is in Classic Flyers museum hanger, but I just can't get enthusiastic about it and I need to go and discuss (beat some sense) the extent of the night works one of the contractors is doing tonight.

Rode down and stayed the night in Baltimore. Went to a local brewery located in an old church and toured the Guinness Open Gate Brewery.

Have decided to add a carport to the side of my old shop.  But need to add gutters to the shop first to divert rain away.  But we discovered the facia board at the eaves is loose,  nails loosened up since its build in 1947.  So pulled out our scaffolding,  moved a car,  an Anglia if you must know,  bought 40 foot of treated 2x4s,  out with the old, in with the new.  And decided to put a new roof coating on the 1947 galvanized tin roofing.  The facia is finished,  start painting tomorrow, then  pour concrete for the carport.  Keeps one busy In 80 degree heat.

80 degree, must be a cold snap.  We have been in the 90's for a while.

Absolutely right! High 90's and high humidity made for a deadly combination last week. Yesterday evening was a great time to sit out and enjoy a cool breeze with a cold adult beverage and a cigar. We grilled up some pork loins and had quite an enjoyable weekday evening. For the end of July that is a win.

We've been smashing records here - June was relatively mild, but July has been a scorcher! High temps and very little monsoon. Though the past week we had some downpours.

I’ll take those 90’s. Been triple digits here for 30 days now. 6 more weeks until it starts cooling off

Changed the plugs in the wife’s Escape 4 banger. Easiest I have ever  done. Took longer to buy them.

MAGA

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

Good job Bob! I'm in the same boat. Wife's Traverse needs 100K plug change, but the rear bank on that 3.6L V6 is a pain. Oh well, -- will get busy on Monday.
