Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

That should be in a museum.

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

A boat like that is a dream. That said, a classic yacht like that it is also a lifestyle that requires constant attention and work.

Wow, what a beauty. Can you imagine what it takes to keep that in the shape its in? Wow

As an aside, how much would you spend to buy a house of that same quality? That seems like a bargain

Buying the boat house as well?

That is a gorgeous cruiser right there. It is smart to keep it in a boat house. The key to owning a boat like that is find good people to do the brightwork and varnish and keep them on the payroll and happy. The wife and I had to make trips at least once a month to keep an eye on the work on her stepfather's trawler. It was a 40' Grand Banks knockoff built in Taiwan and was pretty much all teak. It would take us a solid day to drive up north and check on the horse ranch and then over to Ventura Harbor to inspect the boat including going in the bilges to check everything including the engines, trickle chargers and pumps. There were 2 workers who kept everything up and clean.

The 2 things worth the long days were when the walnuts were ready to harvest on the ranch and the fish market at the harbor. They would make fish and chips out of any of the fish they had but the best were the ones made out of Angel Shark.

Wow. That is gorgeous!  Well written ad as well.  Makes me want it but no way I could keep it up, not to mention the price tag :))

I do have an appreciation for those old boats, they exude class
