Very nice jabber. Are those buildings for animals or a shop? You would have plenty of room to build a shop wherever you want it.

Just out of curiosity, what does land go for in WY? I know the good quality tillable acreage around here is $10,00+ and wooded pasture is $7,000 ish.

I would love to visit WY and MT area sometime.

Looks great!!!!  In 1998 my wife and me looked all over Wyoming for 1000 acres somewhere near civilization and could not find anything for less than $2000.00 an acre.  And would not support the number of cows we wanted.  Finally settled on Missouri and found a ranch in the Ozarks for $325.00 an acre without any structures. Even so, the closest town with bank, grocery, hardware etc. is 13 miles.  Springfield, Missouri is 45 miles and about an hour.  Last comment, think about your age and hospitals etc.

Craigslist is kind of skimpy in that area but a few old ranches might produce some treasures.

Yeah Wyoming tool section in CL is about 200 items. That's ok I`ve got more tools than God now anyways.
As for snow they average about 12 inches and there are 2 major towns about 45 mins away.
The buildings are for animals I think, I`ll know more after a look.

Down the line, I'd like to find some acreage in rural Georgia or Tennessee and I have to remember to keep that in mind.

The wife has friends in Rock Springs (Far SW corner of the state) that they told us had wind chills down to 60 below IIRC one year. 18 wheelers had the diesel freeze in their tanks and were stranded for days. Interstate was full of frozen cars not moving.

Told the wife we're not moving there!

I drove through there last year on 90. You shouldn’t have to deal with to many traffic jams.

So after a 17 hr drive with a 1 hr stop got to Hulett.
I`ve been to the property I was looking at and there was some defiantly been some creative photography on the selling agents side .
I`m about 80% sure it won`t work but I`m going to have a walk through tomorrow.
I camped at Keyhole state park the first night about 14000 acre lake full of fish about 45 min drive from Hulett and today drove through Bearlodge mountains, impossibly beautiful forest to Cook lake, a little 20 acre lake high in the mountains.
Words cannot describe how beautiful how this place was.
The  lake is stoked with Sun fish, Catfish, Tiger trout, Rainbow trout and blue gill.
I`ve got photos but I cannot load them.
Last night I camped at the base of Devils Tower at a KOA site and watched Close encounters of the 3rd kind on an out door big screen with the mountain in the back ground....bloody surreal
Also popped into one of the local mills and was told that there is always some job available, good news.
Met up with the local police and they told me they have a regular drive by and pop in program to look after your house the times when your away, cool right.

Wonder how tomorrow will go.
