With the database lost all of the bans were lost.

They could've rejoined the old forum if they wanted to.

Yep can't really stop them if they know what they are doing.

I can't speak for policy as it's not mine to make but as a guess I would think bans would carry over to the extent possible. Outside of spammers we all have a pretty good idea of the players.

I have to say though I'm not all that comfortable with the direction some of the posts here have taken - that horse is long dead and beaten to pulp. If there are questions of specific individuals I think it would be better to discuss it in a more private manner.

I am sure some of us remember the stuff that went on after a bunch of us left GJ a few years ago. We don't need a bunch of negativity.

There are many people that are easy to recognize once they post a few times. One guy had five or six accounts at the old GG and at least as many over at channel 3. Strik was especially good at rooting him out.

The captcha test is for the first five posts and is designed to reduce automated spam.

cool it goes away.    MG is kinda painful with that.

I did not know he had that many accts.  I only detected six between both forums.  Staff on both got the others.   He was a busy boy.  Good sport him hiding and us hunting.
