Odd deal guys

OK, well, it looks like right now there are two GG sites! In fact there are two! Here is what happened. Rusty was trying to get a new GG site launched and for some reason it was not taking off. So, he decided to do something different and he launched this site which did take off. Meanwhile, unknown to Rusty the first site did launch and roughly 20 guys immediately signed on to that site. Well, by the time Rusty figured out what was going on this site too has about 20 guys that have signed on!

So yes, right now there are two sites! How the two will become one is going to be in Rusty's hands. If that site can be redirected here, or this site there would be the obvious best choice. If not it will mean that either those of us here that signed on will have to sign on over there, or visa versa. Then the abandoned site killed off. So right now all of us, you me and the rest are in a holding mode waiting to see how this will shake out.

That's the problem with the other site. For some crazy reason the domain name won't update to that site. But the plain garagegazette.com was working within minutes.

One big advantage to this site is that it's on a server on the west coast. The other one is on the same server as the machinistgazette.com in Dallas TX.  I personally prefer having them in totally different geographic locations.

It's up to you all which one we use if I can get the domain to work right.

So is there some way to migrate the members from the other site to this site without the guys signed on over there having to do anything Rusty? I will take it as a given this one will be the new home, but I want to make sure the guys at the other site make here too.

If this is going to be the final site then just post up on the other site and have everyone head this way. The other site seems to be getting more traffic so the sooner the decision is made the easier the transition will be.
