GG-SS 2023 gift reveal.

I'll be gone tomorrow, so I do 1/3 of my Christmas gift opening today ( at home today, my maternal family tomorrow,  and paternal family usually the next weekend if possible).
Hopefully everyone has a great Christmas holiday.


My gift came from CrispyCritter.
Not pictured here were 2 bags of old fashioned lemon drops which arrived 1st, I enjoyed one bag and my dog stole and hopefully enjoyed the other.

The little miniature Wiha hex key set is very cool, it has some small sizes I did not already have and I was surprised to see that they're actually American made according to the back of the package which I did not expect.
The PB Swiss pocket screwdriver is very nice, and a nice surprise when I opened the package I instantly noticed that whatever they're using for their handles smells like root beer.
I'm sure it will be a very handy tool to have around.

i received a nice package from the west coast!

jabber sent me  3 jars of jam/jelly, a tub of what i assume is homemade honey and large bag of sae and metric chrome flex sockets. i beieve they are nos sk!

My SS was Muddy, and it was a very pleasant surprise.

Some delicious beefy snacks, unique flavored beer/ale, cool Civil War reading materials, and way cool mil-spec survival and land navigation manuals. Haven’t read the land navigation manual in many decades.

Also included was a genuine Swedish Morakniv Companion model knife. Love Mora knives - the Companion is probably one of the best selling knives of all time.

… and to top it off, Santa included the most unique beverage cooler I’ve seen in a long time. Shaped like a large 3/4” drive Snap On socket, and from a distance the cooler looks like it belongs in a heavy duty industrial socket set. Definitely going to keep this guy out in the garage to keep my beverage cold.

The civil war magazines was a subscription of my great grandfathers. Plenty of reading in my youth and one of the reasons I love history so much.

I was fortunate to know both great grandparents on my mother's side.

I think he saved every issue of magazines he got there were hundreds of them .
