Reminds me of the Kawasaki Mach 3 my dad had when I was a pre-teenager. Two-stroke triple was faster than a bullet at high RPM's but couldn't get out of it's own way at low revs. You'd have to downshift once - maybe twice - to get the revs up to the range where it would move briskly.

As I recall my dad cut the rear triangle off the frame and welded a small foreign car rear end to the thing. Freaking mutant cycle would burn rubber with TWO wheels after that! >:(
